Cat Update

We had another trip to the vet today. Rochester had been throwing up, and the other vet at the center thinks she sees a shadow on his x-ray- but she's not sure. We've scheduled surgery for the morning, but he might not have any.

This whole thing could be residual irritation. We just don't know. So, we're putting off surgery. Tonight, he was given an anti-inflammatory and a shot of anti-emetics. If he makes it till ten without vomiting, we'll give him a little food. If he makes it till tomorrow without vomiting, we'll take him to the vet, but for observation.

I'm starting to think that's the likely scenario. Ever since we got back from the vet, he's been active and annoying, and has an appetite (he hasn't gotten any food, but by all indications, he wants some). So, that's good. Hopefully, that keeps up, and we're spared any surgery.
