Oh. It's one of _those_ days.

Today's an Oracle class. Intro To SQL. Generally an easy class, targeted at people who are moving into a developer/admin role on an Oracle database. The sorts of knowledge you'd assume someone has before they take this class is, well, the ABILITY TO USE A COMPUTER. I shouldn't have to show someone how to use a Start Menu.

Oh, and my students don't get books yet either. Our vendor decided to not give them to us. Theoretically, we should have them by Tuesday (Wednesday at the latest). Realistically, this probably means Thursday, and I'll be slaving away at a photocopier to make handouts till then.

But, I did get an amusing bit of comedy this morning, laughing at people being stupid when it doesn't affect me. I work at a franchise of a much larger company- an international training company. This international and massive company let their domain name expire. An IT training company let their domain name expire. Somebody is probably looking for a new job right now.
