Self Defense

Funny that this article appears the night after someone tried to attack my upstairs neighbor. Or something my upstairs neighbor.

At 2AM some bit of genetic backwash came in through the front door (we generally leave it unlocked since we each have our own apartment door that locks, dead-bolts, and has a privacy latch- that has come to an end). He went up stairs, knocked on her door, claiming to be a cop, and when she opened the door, he attempted to force his way into her apartment. She managed to shut and lock the door again, but she's understandably scared.

I've given her my phone number, via the landlord.
