Yamaha SV-120K Silent Violin. Built in pre-amp, reverb with three presets, aux-in, line out, headphone out. Sounds pretty sharp, especially with the reverb going. I've named her Alexis. The bow it came with isn't so great, but I've got a nicer one with my other violin- it can do double duty (and I've got a backup bow). Right now it's packing basic Yamaha Strings, and I'm not sure how much of a difference better strings would make on the SV.
Guitar Research GR60B bass amp. Strangely, violins work better with bass amps than guitar amps. The stiffer cone makes the tone much richer. It's got an effects loop, built in compression, separate gain/volume controls, three band shelving, seven band EQ, 60 Watts RMS. Mostly intended for use as a monitor/practice amp.
Soon to arrive, the Zoom 505 MkII, a digital effects stomp box. It's cheap, but with a wide range of good quality effects. And it was cheap. Soon Alexis will be screamin' out with wild distortion and some phlanger effects.
Trust me, that sounds pretty damn hot(t).
