NewspapeRSS - Software Idea

I just got a killer idea for an RSS related application. You supply a list of feeds. As new articles appear in the feeds, it runs them through a technorati search to rank them in terms of popularity- and based on that, it lays them out newspaper style, with the most popular article being the main one on the front page.

Could do it web based, but that would mean working in PHP (since that's what my webhost supports) and I hate PHP. Such a clumsy language. *ahem* No, I'm seeing a Cocoa news reader (because I like my Mac!).
