Stupid Fucking People

It's that time again. The news is swamped with stupid people.

First off, did you know that using encryption qualifies as Criminal Intent? At least in Minnesota. Now, the guy was involved with child pr0n. Is he a bad person? Absolutely. Should he rot in a little hole someplace and forced to bunk with Bubba in jail? Sure. Was owning PGP evidence of a criminal act? No.

Meanwhile, an Indianapolis judge ruled that a pair of parents can't raise their son in a 'non-mainstream' religion. In other words, not a judeochristoslam. The parents are both Wiccan. They get a divorce. The judge says that they can share custody, but not make the kid Wiccan.
