High Profile Arrest at the Protests

Josuhua Kinsberg organized Bikesagainstbush. He created a great civil disobiediance type tool- a bike with a non-permanent chalk sprayer that would print messages on the sidewalk as he rode. Useful for getting into places where protests weren't going to be allowed.

He was arrested yesterday, down in New York City under an unclear charge. Originally, the officers tried to nail him on defacement of property. But that wouldn't fly, since wash-away chalk doesn't count as defacement. They arrested him anyway, and confiscated the bike.

Even better- they arrested him while he was interviewing with MSNBC. There's a video available, which I've just downloaded. But damnable thing- I _hate_ Quicktime.
