How Random Babbling Becomes Corporate Policy

I want my Toys back and other news...

Gizmodo has a red flag that I had to jump on. For example, Toys 'R' Us may be leaving the toy business, and just going to being a Babies 'R' Us- because Walmart is undercutting them on prices.

Actually, from my last visit to Toys 'R' Us, I would say it's because they have nothing but crap. There was nothing but movie tie-ins and edutainment toys. Not exactly a growth plan.

Now, from BoingBoing, a warning about the Olympic Games- namely, expect to get crappy treatment if you bring the products of a company that is a rival for one of their sponsors, like a Pepsi or a Whopper. There are other little things too- like Visa having complete control over the tickets to the Olypmics. Or all American medal winners must be wearing Adidas.

Now, we already knew that the Olympics was a corporate whore-fest, but this really drives that home a bit harder.
