Okay, I'll be getting Intarweb Excess tomorrow, unless Time Warner finds a _new_ way to not show up. Last time, they knocked on the outside door to the building, and neglected the freggin doorbell.

I've got some good news though- some news that could be fucking great. Remember all those months ago, when I was ramping up and running around trying to land that Cold Fusion developer gig? The one for Teachers-Teachers.com? The work from home, $50,000 a year gig? The one I really desperately wanted, and didn't get? Well guess what folks. I got an email from the HR person yesterday. I've got another phone interview today, much like last time. Except this time, I start at the same point in the process that I ended with last time. Hopefully I can reel it in this time.

Oh, and the price has gone up- they're now offering $5000/month. Of course, they're only offering six months of work- that could turn into a full time position. I'll be talking with her at 6pm Eastern (She actually said 6pm EST, and I think it'd be waaaay to picky to point out that EST would mean that we'd be meeting at 5pm Eastern time- because we're on Daylight Savings (EDT). If anyone things that she honestly meant EST and not EDT, let me know, and I'll call her at 5 instead of 6, but somehow, I think we'll get by).

At any rate, wish me Luck. Speaking of Luck, my Luck has gotten _much_ better since moving up here (aside from a stint where the bank refused to let me have my money, I've been doing fairly well). We've got a place, we've got a cat, I've got an okay-income (yay Contracting!). If I don't get this job, I won't die, so I'm not nearly as desperate as the last time. But it's a fucking sweet job.

I've got a site I banged up in Cold Fusion to show off, leveraging my New Horizons know how. Things are looking good.
