For $5 I picked up my first set of Astrojax. It's a simple device- two fixed weights at either end of a string, with a third, sliding weight in the middle. It spins, it does tricks, and is similar to playing with a yo-yo, but completely different. In mathematical terms, I'd say that it's really a simplified model of a lariat, and many of the spins are very similar.
I have the VMax, which is the hard plastic low-friction model, and I really want the Saturn, which is the one with blinking LEDs. Trey importante. They are much fun, I strongly reccomend them.
