May the ice caps melt and sink Florida, starting with Manalapan, which will now be running background checks on every driver that enters town. I'd request that all the fucktards responsible for this to line up against that anonymous cement wall, and ignore those dark reddish stains. They're just strange graffitti.

Meanwhile, scary computing moments. I got that new box hooked up and all, and was overjoyed. The side of the case is open- has to be, because the compaq case has these side rails to hold drives in, instead of screws. The side rails, while a nice concept, didn't fit my hard drives. So they're in the pull out bay from my old case, next to the computer. Not an hour after getting everything squared away, a penny falls off my desk, and I hear it clink against the bottom of my case, and then both screens go dark.

And then come back.

No harm done, but jeebus did that scare the piss out of me.
