How Random Babbling Becomes Corporate Policy

So Sunday night Frog asks if he can crash at our place when he visits from Connetticut. Which is fine, and I ask, "What brings the visit?" "Jan's coming on Tuesday."

Would have been nice to know that- I told Elizabeth I could babysit any day this week, so she picked Tuesday. If I had known people were coming, I would have tried for a different day.

But I'm babysitting, so people go out and do things like hikes and diners, and I see everyone in passing. I figure, no big deal though. People will be around this evening, we can hang out, right?

Nope. They all went to dinner, and everyone has returned to their respective residences. Couple that with the fact that Cate and I were supposed to be doing dinner with Elizabeth, et al. tonight, and that was cancelled due to Brian and Noah being ill.

I'm feeling very bored and generally ditched- by circumstance, not people. Bah. Entertain me, I'm sick of doing it myself.
