Think about this. Millenia ago, people would look at the stars, and find pictures, make up stories for those pictures (or make up pictures that reflect culturally approved stories). That spirit lives on, but now it's the London Underground. Imagine, years from now, using those constellations to navigate. "Okay, so you get on the blue line in the Pig, it's going to pass through the Goat and the Dog, and let you off in the trunk of the Elephant."
