Some linux related discoveries: LogJam seems like an ok client... not as nice as Semagic, but that's windows only and WINE can't keep up with it.

And this is less O/S specific, but so you's all know: if you upgrade from Firebird 0.7 to Firefox 0.8 (a rebranded version as explained on the site, despite what they say, I found that I had to delete my default profile and create a new one- the old plugins caused crap with the new ones.
