Slow News Day...

...how the hell am I supposed to rant about what I saw in today's headlines when nothing interesting has happened today. So, instead, I'll just point to the half-scale AT-ST walker someone posted on boing-boing.

I decided to be silly and apply to the _ratemy_journal community, just for hoots. Don't think I'll do well, alot of people don't like my side components (which have been retweaked to sexiness), and I don't dig cute rollover effects (their page has a sparkle effect). I went for smooth and functional, with a minimum of color (and *gasp* with the default background). Sexy and t3ky looking, in my opinion. And pan-browser friendly. And recently redesigned. Well, touched up. I'm becomming quite the contributor to component_help.
