It's aliiiive!

And the nightmare is over. I think anyway. I'll know in a few days. My computer has been randomly rebooting. At first, I thought it was a software thing, and spent alot of time tweaking drivers and reinstalling/uninstalling programs. It seemed to happen when I was using my Gameboy emulator or playing Halo, both of which were directX apps. I realized though that was only coincedence when it started happening at other times. So what, oh what could it be? I researched online, still thinking software. But wait, BIOS, it could be BIOS. I tweak away. This has been a large part of the past two days.

Then I touched my case. It was burning hot. The power supply fan had died. But I didn't have another power supply. I did have another case fan. So I did a no-no, I popped the top on the powersupply, and swapped the fans. But wait, the case-fan was three-pin, the powersupply one two-pin. Cut, splice, seal with duct-tape, run the grounding wire for the fan to the power-supply's ground, and voila. My computer is happy again.
