My ass is both fair and balanced...

What Fox News has to say about MoveOn.org and TomPaine.com. Nice to know that they don't go out of thier way to editorialize.

Meanwhile, I like Fuck you and your H2, which gets to be my site of the week. I'd like to point out the comments on the construction:
The H2 is the ultimate poseur vehicle. It has the chassis of a Chevy Tahoe and a body that looks like the original Hummer; i.e. it's a Chevy Tahoe in disguise.
Fucking you and your fucking H2. Goddamn tragedy of the commons is what it is.

In other news, I approve of other nations building a big ass missle shield. I think it's important the the US isn't the only one with that sorta thing; makes you too obvious a target.

Now, Microsoft is doing something good (hard to believe, I know). They're Spam hunting. Speaking of spamhunting, I've got an idea for a new Tillperl script. Spimwarrior. I'm going to reg as many screen names as I can. Build a library, and keep them all logged in. Then, when I get spimmed, I'm going to use a script to send a warning from every s/n I've got. Gonna have to figure out a way to slip past the fact that you can't warn someone who hasn't IMed you, but there's some fowarding plugins that I might be able to use. We'll see.

Now, for news to make you cry, Walmart sells songs for 88c a pop in an attempt to undercut iTunes. The kicker? Their songs are editted for content. If that wasn't evil enough, they're also distributing in the vile .wma format.

Finally (enough news for you yet?) Sun makes a new *nix distro, and they're going after windows. The only thing... it's a linux distro, but I couldn't find a link to download it without paying liscense fees. Maybe my understanding of the GPL is off, but as a derivitave of linux, it seems to me it has to be available someplace. Then again, I know StarOffice is proprietary and needs to be licensed, so that might have something to do with it.
