Word Count: 10553

The most rewarding aspect of my progress is watching the process of FTPing the text file get longer and longer. For the first day and a half, I didn't even see the progress dialog flash up. Now, I can actually count the seconds it takes to upload. That's an even better indicator of my progress than the word count. YAY!

Oh, and I think I know where the plot is going with this. There's the now obvious subplot of mutineers, which will of course be dealt with (and will come to a head at the worst possible time, of course). But also, I came up with something appropriately cyberpunk.
