How Random Babbling Becomes Corporate Policy

Oi, so ummm... yeah. I've been playing CivIII, and was doing really well until I ended up starting a world war. I'm the Persians, and I went and tried to snag a city from the Chinese so that I could expand to another continent. They of course had treaties with 3 other civilizations, so they all start ganging up on me. As I make peace with one of those three, another one starts a war with me. Right now I'm fighting the Babylonians and Zulus (both on the same continent as me, and sandwiching me in against the easternmost coast), and the Aztecs (who I haven't even seen anywhere in the world). Because of the odd flow of technological development in this game, units that have bows and arrows are fighting alongside 19th century styled cavalry.

And I'm getting trashed. Feh.
