Can being meaningless make something more special and meaningful?

Odd question, I know, but there's an odd thing I've noticed about myself. It takes more interest/desire/need/caring/whathaveyou to be intimate online with someone than in person. It takes a greater level of pent up energy to kiss someone in a chat room than it does in real life. Does that make sense? It's so much easier to do in a chat room... type in ::kiss:: and it's done, whereas the real life version is so much messier and physically intimate.

I think it works like this. The fact that it's meaningless puts it beneath me. Why should I waste the effort if it's so easy, so valueless. Which means I only will pull it out of the depths when I really want to- when I really mean it.

a kiss for you
