Now, one of the tools in Crystal Reports is accessed from a button that is a hand, holding a red ball, and reaching towards a pair of blue balls. And I, as a tradition, always send the students to "Click on the button that looks like a hand reaching for a pair of blue balls."
No one ever got the joke, until today. A few students chuckled. One gave me a look that said, "Do you realize what you just said?" Then the entire class started cracking up. I thanked them for being the only class to ever get the damn joke.
Now who says I can't do subtle?
Sleep is for weenies. I haven't been doing it much, and I feel great. I think I'm even close to quitting entirely!
