Mars is now in Scorpio, one of the zodiac's best planetary placements. Any stern warnings made over the next few weeks will be followed by a commitment to enforcement. Agreements made today are as solid as words can be.
The thing that makes this amusing is that today I recieved a stern warning to keep looking for another job. I had recently decided "well, it's only till the end of April, then I'm moving downstate anyway", but today I was told to keep looking and with some enthusiasm.
This is of course after last week, where I found out that the numbers that sales submits are half made up. From the sales manager herself.
I love my job don't you?
At any rate, lets see what else makes this a bad day- it's the first day back from a four day weekend. I hate going to work, but I hate it more after a taste of freedom. Cate works till 9:30 tonight, which means she won't get home till 10:30, and I'm catching a bus at 6am tomorrow so that I can get to work on time, since Page is gone, Greg's on nights this week.
::sigh:: Oh wait, there's more- I'm supposed to be prepping to teach Oracle, but the image won't ghost, which means no prepping Oracle.
So it's me and LJ today. I'm going to see if I can leave early just to get the hell out of here and not feel useless. At least if I get home I can clean a bit, play some games, look for a job.
Speaking of cleaning, Cate and I went on a spree last night. The plywood bed thing is now against the wall in the living room, where it can serve as a couch (as opposed to sitting in the middle of the room), the living room was rearranged and straightened up a bit, and there are currently no dirty dishes in the kitchen. None. Zip. Zero. Zilch. The kitchen floor was bleached and mopped, and all in all, the entire path from the front door to the living room is livable. Not neat, not clean, but passable. Now to spread that clean elsewhere.
