I feel secure now, don't you?

The Homeland Security bill was passed by the senate. Bush's little pet project in police-stating is now, officially, underway.

The core of the bill, the new cabinet department really isn't the issue. The metric buttload of riders on it, that say things like vaccine manufacturers don't need to adhere to safety regulations, and so on.

Couple this with things like Total Information Awareness and we've got such a good time going on.

I want to go curl up and hide. I'm so glad I'm prepping today and not teaching.
