A Worst Case Scenario

The US attacks Iraq (almost a give at this point). Fed up with the US bullying, OPEC hits us with another embargo. Bush points out that we are reliant upon this oil (due to his machinations, among others) , and that to rob us of this natural resource that our economy depends on is to create an attack based upon fear- the definition of terrorism.

Hence, we go to war with OPEC.

Within a few months, wells are burning across the middle east...
