run the fuck away

1. SubEthaEdit from CodingMonkeys
2. BLOGZOT 2.0 on MacZOT.com
3. MacZOT and TheCodingMonkeys will award $105,000 in Mac software

To be frank, SubEthaEdit is a great bit of software; I've got an old version from before it went shareware, and have been holding on to it like the devil. Considering the cost of the new versions... well, I just can justify it.

Of course, MacZot is offering it as their blogzot today, so the long story short- by posting this here, I've just knocked $0.05 off the price. With any luck, it'll drop so low that it's worth buying (if AppZapper was any indication, it could end up free).
run the fuck away

One Bad Mother- watch your mouth.

Samuel L. Jackson is interviewed over at Time.com on his upcoming role in the summer blockbuster to end all blockbusters, and he revealed something that makes me drool at the possibilities.
The only thing I've kind of missed is finding a really good western that I want to do, because I watched westerns a lot.
Samuel L. Jackson in a western? That would rock. Oh my god would that rock. That could kick more ass than Snakes on a Plane. And he's so versatile, it could be a dramatic western, a comic western, or the ever fun (and my person favorite) a weird west movie.

I'm totally behind that. Put that man in a motherfucking western!

No, I did not, nor did I desire, to see Wild Wild West. I'm talking about good westerns. See: High Plains Drifter, High Noon, "The Adventures of Brisco County, Junior", Unforgiven, and yes, I even enjoyed Maverick. TNT's made-for-TV Purgatory was a neat weird west one, if only because I got to see some talented actors playing old west ne'erdowells as good guys and having a ball at it. And let's not forget the parody that exceeds the genre, Silverado.
