run the fuck away

And now for something completely different...

After that lovely aside about the silly survey, it's time for remy examines his psychoses corner.
It seems that today I took it upon myself to explore my psychoses via a story told roleplaying session. First, it was an experiment. I sat down and made character sheets for all the players, but didn't know who was getting what character. So instead, I just went sadistic. Gave a character a death wish, while he had the merit nine lives. Or made a character a parapalegic with catlike balance (I think that was my worst).
But that's not the psychotic part. I didn't know what to do with this amalgamation, and decided that it was best to throw them together and just see what played out. Some people really clicked with thier characters, others didn't. Next time a few plan to trade. Anyway... how to throw them together? Well, to start the session (and buy some time), I had all the players introduce thier characters, and it turned out that people were pulling an AA sorta routine. "I'm So and So, I do this, like this, and have a habit of this."
Once all the characters were done going around the circle, I launched what was to become the most nonsensical plot ever. "Very well. The person mediating this converstation stands up. 'Thank you very much. Wait one moment please,' and he walks out. You don't know who this stranger was, or why you just shared all these personal details publicly... or where you are, or how you got here, and why."
And so it ran... a bizarre twist of matrix, alice in wonderland (though are they really that different?) and the Wizard of Oz. My favorite part was when they went to the Power Company (a local gay bar) with the hopes of tracking down a "Queen of Hearts". Little did they know that it was the 1st Annual Alice in Wonderland Rave.
Quoth Greg: "We should soooo throw one of those."
Can you break the illusion? Sure you can. When the people running the show tell you to do something, don't. Do something else. Sometimes do the opposite, but othertimes, just be unpredictable.

run the fuck away

Why did you take your guidance chip out?

To make room for the cupcake of course.

Okaaaay. So, I come home every weekend, after being gone most of saturday (yay having fun with friends) and discover that my roomate has bought a new computer bit to make me jealous. First, he just replaced his broken monitor. Then, he got a wireless optical mouse. Then.... oooohhhh then, I wake up, and do a double take at his new flatscreen. I hate him. It's that simple. Little bastard who has money to buy stuff!

So not fair.
