Oh, and...

I've begun reading Moonheart by Charles DeLint. The man weaves the powers of magick into his stories so strongly I can almost physically see the threads that connect it with the world. It's rather... unique. And powerful. And thought provoking.

And unrelated, do you realize that the modern metaphor for what used to be the spirits has become aliens? They fill the same mystical role, being the outside forces bringing wisdom to humanity. Just a neet thought.
