how something so simple as a decent roomate can make you realize how easy it is to become scarred. My roomate last year was a bit... dickish. Very very possesive of his personal space, and dominating in a passive-agressive way. This year, I've got a reasonable roomate, but I still jump and apologize profusely when something falls off my bed (like sheets) and lands on his stuff, or when a bit of my mess trickles over into his space, etc. while he's all cool about it, and quite relaxed.
